Yukon: Taking a trip to Neptune

Yukon talks to us about his humble beginnings. Moving from New England to the bustling streets of the South Side of Atlanta.

"Summer of 2014 my family... all split up and I ended up going back home to Connecticut" -Yukon

He became an artist after a close friend told him, he could see him really doing something with music. Taking the advice and following his passion it all came together. Ever since that day he's been making music, recording himself in his bedroom. He calls it "Neptune", his getaway from the world.

"Growing up on the south side of Atlanta, man its Crazy"- Coming from cold winters in New Britain, Connecticut. To the booming city streets of Atlanta. Yukon speaks about the fast lifestyle you get exposed to growing up on the south side. "Literally a real life movie," is how he describes everyday life.

"In Atlanta you really find out who you are, because I've been through hard times but it made me wiser and mentally stronger"- Yukon

With influencers like his Late Great Uncle "Troup", Atlanta Legend, Yukon and his two brothers were put in position to change their lives. Yukon and his brothers being tremendously talented at video games, Troup began bringing them to trap houses all over the city to gamble. Troup known to be a top dice player in Atlanta. "They would call me out of school so we could go make the next gamble"-

Also known as Gamertag Les ismoor (add him) , Yukon is no pion to the the pro level gamer scene. Winning a NBA 2K tournament, March of 2018. With a list of accolades including Pro Am "MPBA" League Rookie of the Year.

"Im well known in the community & i have many friends that are in the industry.."- He considers gaming as another world that he goes to when not in "Neptune"

"I want my music to take my family and I, to places we could only Imagine."- Yukon

Yukon feeling the discouraging forces of depression, heartbreak, and struggling. He wants his fans to know he's been where they were, but you and only you have the power to change that. As cliché as that sounds, you gotta respect anyone who makes is out of the slums of Atlanta.

From having nothing and turning it into something Yukon wakes up everyday inspired and motivated. Not too many people can say they get to do what they want.

Yukon working under the management of @Wishuponatar has already blessed the stage with legends like Gucci Mane and youth sensations like Smokepurpp. With plans to drop his first project this spring, it's only up from here. We can't wait to see what's on "Neptune"
